February 2008: IIACNY expresses concern regarding local chamber’s decision to enter the property & casualty insurance business.

The Board of Directors of the Independent Agents of Central New York has been working closely with the Syracuse Area Chamber of Commerce after learning of their decision to enter the property and casualty insurance business. We encourage our members to review our recent letter (PDF) to the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce. We will continue to work closely with the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce while keeping our membership apprised of any future developments.
